| I love having first period free; I hate having a tenth period class; I like Spec class; I love Spec F-UNIT; I like second term; I don't like dirty snow; I'm getting over the black lung; I've watched so many crap movies this weekend (never been kissed, zoolander, the parent trap); actually those are all amazing movies; i <3 the olympics; snowboarding is the best except why shaun white why; also why bode miller and michelle kwan and apollo anton ono?

| i love new year's...because of the twilight zone marathon that comes with it. procrastinating is so easy when it's always on. this is definitely the most wonderful time of the year.
the highlight of my night was fireworks in the park and wishing random people a happy new year. or, that might just be all that i remember.
me: happy new year!
random woman: you're not supposed to say it until midnight, it's bad luck.
me: oh! um, break a leg!
edit: sixteen this year...holy crap.

| most depressing train ride ever today.
first, on the downtown A approaching jay street, this man is coming around passing around little slips of paper to everyone. they say, "i am deaf and am selling these to raise money for the national deaf something or other" (not trying to be rude here, i just forgot the name.) they have the braille alphabet on the back, and it says, "pay as much or as little as you'd like." well, all i had was a penny and a 10 dollar bill, so i handed the slip back to him.
i got off at jay and got onto the f across the platform. as i was about to get off at prospect park, a woman was passing around index cards. they said, in her own handwriting on each and every one, "i am homeless and i am trying to get money to raise my kids. please help me by giving me some change. god bless you." well, again i didn't have an appropriate amount of money so i got off and walked home...
today was kind of a bad day.
